Fibroblastväxt

Fibroblastväxt refers to the process of fibroblast proliferation, a crucial aspect of wound healing and tissue repair. Fibroblasts are the primary cells responsible for producing the extracellular matrix, including collagen, which provides structural support to connective tissues. When an injury occurs, fibroblasts are activated and migrate to the damaged site.

This migration and proliferation are orchestrated by a complex interplay of growth factors, cytokines, and extracellular matrix components. Key signaling molecules such as Platelet-Derived Growth Factor (PDGF) and Transforming Growth Factor-beta (TGF-β) play significant roles in stimulating fibroblast proliferation. These growth factors bind to specific receptors on the fibroblast surface, initiating intracellular signaling cascades that promote cell division and migration.

Once at the wound site, fibroblasts begin to synthesize and deposit new extracellular matrix, gradually filling the defect and forming granulation tissue.
