Feuchtwiesen

Feuchtwiesen is a small municipality in the district of Unterallgäu in the Bavarian region of Swabia, Germany. It lies in the western part of the Alpine foreland, approximately 25 kilometres southwest of Augsburg and 30 kilometres north of Memmingen. The community covers an area of 7.3 square kilometres and is situated at an elevation of about 530 metres above sea level, on the fertile flatlands that give the settlement its name – “Feuchtwiesen” translates to “moist meadows” in German.
