Ferdiadh
Ferdiadh was a warrior and companion of the hero Cú Chulainn in the Ulster Cycle of Irish mythology. He is primarily known for his tragic role in the story of the Táin Bó Cúailnge (The Cattle Raid of Cooley). Ferdiadh and Cú Chulainn were foster-brothers, having been trained together in the martial arts by the sorceress Scáthach. They shared a deep bond and were considered equals in skill.
