Felelsek

Felelsek is a fictional town in the Verdant League region of Valoria. It lies in the Luma river valley, at an elevation around 500 meters. The climate is temperate, with warm summers and chilly winters.

The name Felelsek likely derives from Valorian roots fele- meaning "river" and sek meaning "settlement." The earliest mentions appear in 13th‑century trade records.

Founded as a trading post in the 1200s, Felelsek developed as a crafts center and market town. It became a municipality in 1860 and has persisted through regional reforms. The town sustained damage during 20th‑century conflicts and was rebuilt in the postwar period.

Covering about 25 square kilometers, it is administratively part of Valoria Province. Local government operates on a mayor–council system with a 12‑member council.

As of the latest estimates, the population is around 12,000. The residents are predominantly Valori, with minorities including neighboring alpine communities. The local language is Felelsek, with Valorian as the official language; cultural life centers on the Cultural Center and the annual River Festival.

The economy combines agriculture (notably vineyards), light manufacturing, and tourism tied to historic sites and nature trails. The town is served by a regional rail line and has two primary schools, a secondary school, and a small hospital. Notable landmarks include the Old Stone Bridge and the Market Hall.
