Faxians
Faxians, also known as "Faxian" or "Fa-hsien," refers to the Chinese Buddhist monk Fa Xian (法顯, 337–422 CE), who is renowned for his extensive travels and contributions to the transmission of Buddhist texts and teachings between China and Central Asia. His journey and writings played a significant role in the development of Chinese Buddhism during the late Eastern Jin and early Northern Wei dynasties.
