Farsímakerfi, also known as the Faroese legal system, is the legal framework governing the Faroe Islands, a self-governing archipelago within the Kingdom of Denmark. The Faroese legal system is based on the Danish legal tradition, with its own unique characteristics shaped by the islands' history and cultural identity. It is a civil law system, which means that laws are codified and interpreted by judges rather than being based on religious or customary law.

The Faroese legal system is overseen by the Faroese Supreme Court, which is the highest court in the Faroe Islands. The Faroese Constitution, which was adopted in 2005, guarantees fundamental rights and freedoms, including the right to a fair trial, freedom of speech, and freedom of religion. In recent years, there have been efforts to further strengthen and modernize the Faroese legal system, including the adoption of new laws and regulations and the establishment of new institutions.
