FSOCOM

FSOCOM, or the Foreign Special Operations Command, is a unified command of the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) responsible for planning, coordinating, and conducting special operations in support of U.S. national security objectives abroad. Established in 2007, FSOCOM operates under the authority of the Secretary of Defense and is headquartered at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida.
