FPligningen is a fictional term used in speculative science fiction and cybernetic theory to denote a proposed method for dynamically aligning interacting subsystems within a complex system. In the imagined framework, FPligningen seeks to reconcile competing local objectives with a single global goal through an iterative, feedback-driven process.

Conceptually, it is described as operating in three stages: detecting misalignment between subsystem states and the global objective; generating a set of alignment proposals that could bring the subsystems into compliance; and applying a reconciliation step that updates subsystem states to minimize a central misalignment metric, sometimes referred to as an f-function.
