FNsikkerhetsrådet
FNsikkerhetsrådet is the principal organ of the United Nations responsible for maintaining international peace and security. It is composed of fifteen members, including five permanent members with veto power: China, France, Russia, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The remaining ten members are elected by the General Assembly for two-year terms.
The Council's primary role is to investigate any dispute or situation that might lead to international friction.
