Fényképezgépfilmek, often translated as photographic film or camera film, refers to the medium used in traditional photography to capture images. This film consists of a strip or sheet of transparent plastic film base coated on one side with a gelatin emulsion containing microscopic light-sensitive silver halide crystals. When light strikes these crystals during exposure, a latent image is formed, which is invisible to the naked eye. This latent image is then made visible through a chemical development process.
