Diagnosis of eyrnasjúkdómar typically involves a physical examination of the ear, audiometry (hearing tests), and sometimes imaging techniques. Treatment varies widely depending on the specific condition and can include antibiotics, anti-inflammatory medications, ear drops, or surgical interventions. Prevention often involves good ear hygiene and avoiding exposure to loud noises.
