Exportwaarde is a economic term used to describe the monetary value of goods and services that residents of a country sell to foreign buyers during a specified period. It is typically expressed in the national currency or in a common international unit, such as the United States dollar, and is used as an indicator of a country’s outward trade performance.

In practice, exportwaarde encompasses the value of both goods and services exported. For goods, statistics often use an FOB (free on board) price, which reflects the value of the goods at the country's border before transport and insurance to the destination. For services, the value is based on the prices invoiced to foreign buyers. The exact definition can vary by data source or country, so the scope (goods, services, or both) and the treatment of re-exports may differ.

Exportwaarde is a key component of several macroeconomic indicators. It feeds into measures of the trade balance (exports minus imports), contributes to gross domestic product through net exports, and indicates earnings from foreign demand. Analysts often distinguish nominal exportwaarde from real exportwaarde by applying price or exchange-rate adjustments to remove inflation or currency effects.
