Exosphereiden is a term that has appeared in speculative fiction and online discussions, often describing a hypothetical extraterrestrial civilization or life form originating from the exosphere of a planet. The exosphere is the outermost layer of a planetary atmosphere, characterized by extremely low density where particles are so widely spaced that they rarely collide. In this environment, life, if it were to exist, would likely be very different from anything known on Earth.

The concept of exosphereiden often explores the idea of beings adapted to a vacuum or near-vacuum, potentially existing as diffuse energy fields, extremely sparse matter, or even as consciousness without a physical form as conventionally understood.
