Exede

Exede was a brand of consumer satellite internet services offered by Exede Communications, a subsidiary of ViaSat, Inc. The service was designed to provide broadband connectivity to rural and remote areas in the United States and select international markets by using the ViaSat-1 high-throughput satellite operating in the Ka-band. Exede marketed the ability to access typical internet activities, including web browsing, streaming, and email, from locations where terrestrial broadband was unavailable.
