Evaporiiittiset
Evaporiiittiset refers to a class of minerals that form through the evaporation of water. These minerals are typically found in arid or semi-arid regions where evaporation rates exceed precipitation. The process of evaporite formation involves the concentration of dissolved salts in a body of water. As water evaporates, the concentration of these salts increases until they become supersaturated and begin to precipitate out of solution.
Common examples of evaporite minerals include halite (rock salt), gypsum, anhydrite, and various sulfates and nitrates.
