Euroleaf
Euroleaf refers to the official logo used to denote organic products in the European Union. This logo, often called the "organic logo" or "EU organic farming logo," features a stylized leaf formed by stars, superimposed on a green background. Its purpose is to help consumers easily identify products that comply with the EU's stringent organic farming regulations. These regulations cover aspects such as crop production, animal husbandry, and food processing, aiming to promote sustainable agriculture and protect the environment. Products bearing the Euroleaf logo must have been produced and certified according to EU organic standards. This includes restrictions on the use of synthetic pesticides, fertilizers, and genetically modified organisms. The certification process is carried out by accredited control bodies. The introduction of the Euroleaf logo in 2010 aimed to increase consumer confidence and simplify the identification of organic products across member states, contributing to the growth of the organic market within the EU.
