Eurokoodiperheeseen
Eurokoodiperheeseen, commonly referred to as the Eurocodes, is a set of ten harmonized European standards for structural design. These standards are intended to ensure the safety and performance of construction works across the European Union and other participating countries. The Eurocodes cover a wide range of structural materials and types of structures, including concrete, steel, timber, masonry, and composite structures. They also address various aspects of structural design, such as loads, earthquake resistance, and geotechnical design. The primary goal of the Eurocodes is to provide a consistent and reliable framework for structural engineering, facilitating the free movement of construction products and services within the European Economic Area.
The development and implementation of the Eurocodes are managed by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN).
