Euleri

Euleri is a fictional municipality in the central region of Valoria, created for illustrative purposes in this article. It is modeled on traditional European settlements, featuring a medieval core, surrounding farmland, and a local economy based on small-scale industry and tourism.

Euleri covers about 15 square kilometers and sits at an elevation of roughly 210 meters, near the Eulen River. The town is governed by a mayor and a 12-member council elected for four-year terms.

Settlement in the area dates to the medieval period, anchored by a Benedictine abbey established in the 12th century. Euleri received market rights in the 14th century and developed a railway connection in the late 19th century, fostering growth.

As of 2023, Euleri has around 4,200 residents. The local economy combines agriculture—primarily vineyards and olive groves—light manufacturing, and services, with tourism centered on the historic town core.

Notable features include a Gothic parish church, a small town hall, and a streetscape of timber-framed houses. An annual harvest festival and a weekly market attract visitors and residents alike.

The town hosts the Euleri Institute for Interdisciplinary Studies, a regional research center with programs in the humanities and sciences. It also maintains a public library and a secondary school serving the surrounding area.
