Ethnonymic

Ethnonymic is an adjective relating to ethnonyms, the names applied to ethnic groups or peoples. The term is used in linguistic and anthropological contexts to describe words, forms, or naming practices that derive from or denote a particular ethnicity. Ethnonymic forms can function as adjectives or as nouns referring to a people, language, or culture.

Ethnonymy studies how ethnonyms are formed, borrowed, adapted, and used across languages and communities. It considers endonyms (the name a group uses for itself) and exonyms (names used by outsiders), as well as the political and social dimensions of naming.
