Ethnonationalists

Ethnonationalism is a form of nationalism where the nation is defined in terms of ethnicity. Ethnonationalist belief holds that nations are defined by a shared heritage, which usually includes a common language, faith, and ethnicity. It is distinguished from civic nationalism, which defines nationality by shared citizenship, universal political values, and institutions. Ethnonationalism prioritizes the interests of a specific ethnic group within a nation-state.
