Esplainaation

Esplainaation is a nonstandard term that appears mainly as a misspelling of explanation or as a self-consciously coined neologism in informal writing. It is not recognized as a formal term in major dictionaries, and there is no established definition in scholarly or linguistic sources.

Origin and spelling. The form likely arises from combining the verb explain with the noun-forming suffix -ation, but it diverges from the standard spelling of explanation.
