Esiintyviltä

Esiintyviltä is a Finnish grammatical form that functions as the elative plural of the present active participle esiintyvä, meaning “from those who are performing” or “from those appearing.” It is a source-marking form used to indicate origin or basis of information, statements, or actions attributed to a group described by the participle.

In Finnish, adjectives and participles decline like other modifiers, and the elative plural ending -iltä signals “from … (the group).” When esiintyvä describes people who are performing, the elative plural yields esiintyviltä. The form is most natural in expressions where the source or basis of something is explicitly tied to people who are currently or habitually performing.
