Eriosphere
The Eriosphere is a theoretical concept in astrobiology that refers to the region around a star where the conditions are suitable for the emergence and evolution of life as we know it. This region is often considered to be within the habitable zone, also known as the Goldilocks zone, where the temperature is neither too hot nor too cold for liquid water to exist on the surface of a planet. The Eriosphere is named after the star Epsilon Eridani, which is the closest known star to the Sun that has a planetary system.
The concept of the Eriosphere was first proposed by astrobiologist Jack O'Malley-James in 2012. He suggested
One of the key factors that O'Malley-James identified as important for the Eriosphere is the presence of
The Eriosphere is still a theoretical concept, and much more research is needed to fully understand its
