Erftstadt

Erftstadt is a town in the Rhein-Erft-Kreis, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It lies on the Erft river about 25 kilometers southwest of Cologne and is part of the Cologne metropolitan region. The municipality comprises several districts, including Lechenich, Liblar, Blessem, and Erp, as well as smaller villages. The area combines rural villages with suburban neighborhoods and green spaces along the Erft valley.
