Eremkovy
Eremkovy, also known as eremkovite, is a rare mineral species that was first discovered in the Eremkovsky mine in the Khibiny massif, Kola Peninsula, Russia. It was named after the mine where it was found. Eremkovy is a complex oxide mineral with the chemical formula Na2Ca2Fe2+4Fe3+2O10. It crystallizes in the monoclinic crystal system and typically forms prismatic crystals or granular aggregates. The mineral is dark brown to black in color and has a metallic luster. Its hardness on the Mohs scale is approximately 5.5, and it has a specific gravity of about 4.3.
