Epäsiemenkasvit, also known as gymnosperms, are a group of vascular plants that reproduce using seeds but do not produce flowers or fruits. The term "gymnosperm" literally means "naked seed," referring to the fact that their seeds are not enclosed within an ovary. Instead, the seeds are typically borne on the surface of cone scales.

This ancient group of plants has a long evolutionary history, predating flowering plants.
