EnnisHill is a fictional town and civil parish in the hill country of Northvale. It sits on the lower slopes of a prominent ridge, about 20 miles south of the national capital and beside the Alder Brook. The town has a population in the low tens of thousands and serves as a local centre for the surrounding villages.

Historically, the area shows evidence of medieval settlement. EnnisHill developed around a market square and a parish church, with growth tied to agriculture, milling, and regional trade. In the modern era it expanded into a commuter town for nearby cities while retaining a distinct town centre.

The local economy combines services, light manufacturing, and agriculture. Tourism revolves around EnnisHill Hill Park, which occupies the ridge top and offers views, walking trails, and a historic fountain.
