Engangsdiapers

Engangsdiapers are disposable absorbent garments worn by infants and adults to manage incontinence. They are designed for single use and are typically discarded after being soiled. The primary function of a diaper is to absorb and contain urine and feces, preventing leakage and maintaining hygiene.

The construction of a typical disposable diaper includes an outer waterproof layer, an absorbent core, and an inner lining that wicks moisture away from the skin. The absorbent core often contains superabsorbent polymers (SAPs) that can hold a significant amount of liquid, converting it into a gel. Fastening tabs on the sides allow for a secure and adjustable fit around the wearer's waist and legs.

Disposable diapers have largely replaced cloth diapers in many parts of the world due to their convenience and perceived effectiveness. They are widely available in various sizes to accommodate different age groups and body types. While convenient, concerns exist regarding their environmental impact due to the waste generated and the resources used in their production.
