Energiaáramlás

Energiaáramlás, a Hungarian term often translated as energy flow, refers to the movement and transformation of energy through various systems. This concept is fundamental in several scientific disciplines, including physics, biology, and ecology.

In physics, energiaáramlás describes the transfer of energy from one form to another, such as from potential energy to kinetic energy, or from one object to another through heat or work. The laws of thermodynamics, particularly the first and second laws, govern these processes, stating that energy cannot be created or destroyed, only converted, and that each conversion involves some energy loss as heat, increasing entropy.

In biological contexts, energiaáramlás is central to understanding life processes. Photosynthesis in plants captures light energy and converts it into chemical energy in the form of glucose. This energy is then transferred through food chains as organisms consume others. Cellular respiration releases this stored chemical energy to fuel metabolic activities.
