Energiamärgistuse, or Energy Labeling, is a system used in many countries to inform consumers about the energy efficiency of products. This label typically displays a rating scale, often from A to G, where A represents the most energy-efficient option and G the least. More advanced systems may use a wider range of colors and letter grades to further differentiate products.

The primary purpose of the energy label is to empower consumers to make informed purchasing decisions, encouraging them to choose products that consume less energy. This, in turn, helps reduce household energy bills and contributes to environmental protection by lowering greenhouse gas emissions. The labeling scheme applies to a wide range of appliances and equipment, including refrigerators, washing machines, televisions, and lighting.

For certain appliances, additional metrics like water consumption, noise levels, or storage capacity might also be displayed.
