Emittorisäike

Emittorisäike, sometimes referred to as an emission filament, is a component found in certain types of vacuum tubes, particularly those used in early electronics and specialized applications. Its primary function is to generate electrons through thermionic emission. The filament is typically a thin wire, often made of tungsten or a similar refractory metal, which is heated to a high temperature by an electrical current passing through it.
