Embrionaalsete

Embrionaalsete refers to the embryonic stage of development in living organisms. This phase begins with fertilization, the fusion of a sperm and egg cell to form a zygote. The zygote then undergoes rapid cell division and differentiation, forming a blastocyst, which is a hollow ball of cells.

The subsequent stages of embryonic development involve the formation of germ layers, which are the primary tissues that will give rise to all the organs and structures of the organism. These germ layers are the ectoderm, mesoderm, and endoderm. The length of the embryonic period varies significantly between species, with humans having an embryonic period that lasts for approximately the first eight weeks after fertilization. Following the embryonic period, the developing organism enters the fetal stage, where further growth and maturation of organs occur until birth.
