Eltulajdonítása refers to the process of transferring ownership of an asset, typically real estate, from one party to another. In Hungarian legal and financial contexts, this term is commonly used when discussing property transactions, inheritance, or other forms of asset transfer. The process involves several key steps, including legal documentation, valuation, and registration with relevant authorities.

In real estate, eltulajdonítása is often associated with purchasing or inheriting property. When buying a property, the seller must legally transfer ownership (eltulajdonítása) to the buyer through a notary-deed (hitelbizományi szerződés) and subsequent registration in the property cadastre (ingatlankönyvek). Inherited properties also undergo this process, where the heirs must formally accept and register the transfer of ownership.
