Elleve
Elleve is a historically significant locality situated in the eastern part of Denmark, currently incorporated into the municipality of Aarhus in the Central Jutland region. The area covers approximately 11 square kilometres and historically functioned as a separate municipal entity known for its agrarian economy and close-knit community. Its name, derived from Old Norse linguistic roots, reflects the region’s medieval heritage.
Geographically the area lies on the northern coast of the Kattegat Sea, providing a mild maritime climate.
Until 2007, Elleve operated under its own local council, managing a population of around 15,000 residents spread
