Elkezelés

Elkezelés is a Hungarian noun describing the act of handling, processing, or dealing with something. It is formed from the verb kezelni (to handle, to treat) with the prefix el-, which can add nuances related to completion or a turning-to-an-end aspect. The term is used across several domains to denote the procedural aspect of addressing a matter or object.

In everyday and formal language, elkezelés refers to how a task, request, material, or data is managed or processed. For example, phrases like az elkezelés menete (the sequence of steps in handling) or az elkezelés módja (the method of processing) are common. In technical contexts, however, more specific terms may be preferred.

In manufacturing, logistics, and waste management, elkezelés can denote the processing, handling, or treatment of materials and products, including the stages through which a material is passed before it becomes a final product or is disposed of.

In medicine, the preferred term for patient care is usually kezelés or gyógykezelés. Elkezelés may appear in general or administrative writing to describe the overall approach to treatment, but it is less common in clinical language.
