Eingestiegen

Eingestiegen is the past participle of the German verb einsteigen, meaning to get on or into something, most commonly a vehicle, but also to join a group, project, or market. It describes both the act of entering and, in some contexts, the resulting state of having entered.

Grammatically, eingestiegen is used with the auxiliary sein to form perfect tenses: Ich bin in den Zug eingestiegen. It can also function as an attributive adjective, as in die eingestiegenen Passagiere.
