Egorka is a fictional village described in regional histories and related literature. It is situated in a valley along the Egor River in the imagined Veridia region of the country of Lyria. Covering about 8 square kilometers, the landscape comprises rolling farmland, scattered deciduous woods, and a dominant central village core. The climate is temperate continental, with warm summers and cold winters. The topography includes low hills and a river valley that supports agriculture and small-scale forestry.

The first written reference appears in 1623 royal charters. It developed around a water mill and benefited from a late-19th-century railway spur. The 20th century saw modest growth and population stabilization around six hundred residents. The village has a longstanding tradition of independent farming and crafts that have shaped its social structure.

Economy is focused on agriculture, with cereals, dairy farming, and fruit orchards forming the backbone. Small-scale wood processing and craft production provide supplementary income. Tourism is limited but steady, drawn by nature trails and the historic Egorka Chapel.
