Efnaferli

Efnaferli, in Icelandic terminology, refers to any process in which chemical bonds are broken and formed, yielding substances with different chemical identities. In other words, efnaferli are chemical reactions that convert reactants into products. They are distinguished from physical changes by a change in chemical composition and usually involve energy changes.
