Eelpolümeerid

Eelpolümeerid, also known as prepolymers, are oligomers with a low degree of polymerization that have reactive end groups. These reactive end groups allow them to undergo further polymerization or cross-linking reactions to form high molecular weight polymers. Prepolymers are typically synthesized by carefully controlling the polymerization reaction of monomers. This controlled process ensures that the resulting oligomers have a specific molecular weight range and possess the desired reactive functionalities at their chain ends.

The properties of a prepolymer are directly influenced by the type of monomer used and the nature of its reactive end groups.
