Ecohydrological
Ecohydrological refers to the study of the interactions between ecological processes and hydrological processes. This interdisciplinary field examines how water influences the distribution, abundance, and function of living organisms, as well as how vegetation and other ecosystems, in turn, affect the movement and storage of water. It bridges the gap between ecology, which focuses on life and its interactions, and hydrology, which deals with the movement, distribution, and quality of water.
Key areas of ecohydrological research include the impact of water availability on plant growth and community
