EUregulativerne refers to the body of regulations enacted by the European Union. These regulations are legally binding and directly applicable in all member states without the need for national transposition. The process of creating EU regulations involves the European Commission proposing legislation, which is then debated and adopted by the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union. Once adopted, regulations are published in the Official Journal of the European Union and enter into force on a specified date, or 20 days after publication if no date is specified.
