EMsäteily
EMsäteily is the Swedish term for electromagnetic radiation. It encompasses a wide spectrum of energy that travels in waves and can be generated by the movement of charged particles. This radiation includes radio waves, microwaves, infrared radiation, visible light, ultraviolet radiation, X-rays, and gamma rays. The difference between these types of radiation lies in their wavelength and frequency, which in turn determine their energy.
Electromagnetic radiation travels at the speed of light in a vacuum. It does not require a medium
EMsäteily has numerous applications in modern society. Radio waves are used for broadcasting and communication, microwaves
