EGRsysteem, or Exhaust Gas Recirculation system, is a technology used in internal combustion engines to reduce the formation of nitrogen oxides (NOx) in the exhaust gases. NOx emissions are a significant contributor to air pollution and are regulated by environmental laws in many countries. The EGR system works by recirculating a portion of the exhaust gases back into the engine's intake manifold. This recirculated exhaust gas dilutes the incoming air-fuel mixture, reducing the combustion temperature and thus lowering the formation of NOx.
