EDFADispersion refers to a phenomenon observed in the context of electronic data formats (EDF) and digital signal processing, particularly in the analysis of waveforms and time-series data. The term is often used in conjunction with the EDFA (Erbium-Doped Fiber Amplifier) and other optical amplification technologies, where signal dispersion can degrade the quality of transmitted data over long distances.
