Dzieleniem

Dzieleniem is the instrumental form of the Polish noun dzielenie, which denotes division, sharing, or distribution. The root dziel- comes from the verb dzielić (to divide). The term covers both mathematical division and the act of partitioning resources, territory, or tasks. In historical contexts, dzielenie has been used to describe partitions or separations, such as the political partitions of a country.

In mathematics, dzielenie refers to the division operation. If a and b are numbers with b not equal to zero, their division yields a quotient and, in many cases, a remainder. Notation includes a/b or a ÷ b. In the integers, the division algorithm states there exist unique integers q and r such that a = bq + r with 0 ≤ r < |b|. When b ≠ 0, a/b is a real or rational number; in computer arithmetic, distinctions are made between real division and integer division, the latter often truncating toward zero.

In everyday language, dzielenie denotes splitting or apportioning something into parts, such as money, time, tasks, or responsibilities. The related verb dzielić się means to share with others.
