Dybdemåler

Dybdemåler is a Danish term that translates to "depth sounder" or "depth finder" in English. It refers to a device used to measure the depth of water. These instruments are commonly found on boats and ships, as well as in various marine and underwater exploration contexts.

The basic principle behind many dybdemåler devices is sonar technology. They emit sound pulses from a transducer, which travel down into the water.
