DurPentatonik
DurPentatonik, or the major pentatonic, is a five-note scale used in many musical traditions. It is formed from the major scale by omitting the fourth and seventh degrees, leaving the first, second, third, fifth, and sixth steps. In semitone terms from the tonic it comprises 0, 2, 4, 7, 9.
