DuplexModus

DuplexModus is a term used in telecommunications and hardware design to describe a family of techniques for achieving true bidirectional communication on a shared medium. It combines full‑duplex signaling with adaptive interference cancellation to enable simultaneous upstream and downstream transmission on a single channel. The concept has appeared in academic literature and in early industry demonstrations since the 2010s.

Technically, DuplexModus relies on a combination of directional isolation, advanced echo cancellation, and dynamic impedance control to separate outgoing and incoming signals.
