Dugway

Dugway is a remote, unincorporated community located in Tooele County, Utah, United States. It is situated in the western part of the state, near the Utah Test and Training Range and the Dugway Proving Ground, a U.S. Army facility. The name "Dugway" refers to a track or passage worn down by repeated travel, often through difficult terrain. The area's geography is characterized by desert plains and the surrounding Skull Valley.

The community of Dugway is primarily associated with the U.S. Army's Dugway Proving Ground, which was established during World War II. The proving ground is a large military installation used for testing chemical and biological weapons, as well as for other defense-related research and development.
