Tooele
Tooele is a city located in Tooele County, Utah, United States. Situated in a valley west of the Great Salt Lake, the city is approximately 30 miles southwest of Salt Lake City. Tooele serves as the county seat of Tooele County. The area was first settled by Mormon pioneers in the mid-19th century, and the town was officially established in 1864. Its early economy was largely based on agriculture and mining, with significant mineral deposits found in the surrounding mountains.
